Job summary

Pembroke Hospital in Pembroke, MA is seeking part-time or per diem Activity Therapists to join the inpatient behavioral health team. Shifts available Saturdays and Sundays, 9am–5pm.

You will provide expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities on the inpatient units. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, completing group documentation, and supporting patients across teens to older adults with engaging therapeutic activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related field and pursuing or holding certification in expressive, music, art, recreation, occupational, or physical therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in recreational or expressive therapy with CTRS/MT-BC/ATR-BC or other Expressive Therapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop treatment goals.
• Facilitate groups on inpatient psychiatric units.
• Complete group documentation and communicate with the treatment team.
• Provide education to Mental Health Associates for effective group facilitation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
