Job summary

Fuller Hospital in South Attleboro, MA is seeking an Activity Therapist to join its inpatient behavioral health program on a per diem basis. You will provide expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities on inpatient units.

You will conduct initial activity therapy assessments, facilitate 4-5 groups daily, and document findings while coordinating with the treatment team. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a creative arts therapy or related field is required
• Art Therapy or expressive art certification preferred
• Evening and Weekend availability is required

Responsibilities

• Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals
• Facilitate 4-5 groups per day
• Complete group documentation and communicate with other members of the treatment team via treatment planning and team meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
