Option Care Health, Inc. in Omaha, NE is seeking a Part-time Infusion Nurse II. You will coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or alternate infusion sites under physician plans of care.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with infusion nursing preferred. You will train and mentor Infusion Nurse I’s, ensure patient safety, document care, and collaborate with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit and documents changes for physician orders.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s to ensure patient safety.
• Provides effective patient education for independent management of prescribed therapy and care needs.
• Maintains timely clinical documentation and communicates with the clinical team for billing and care coordination.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries with instructions for patients.
