Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of new infusion centers in Westfield, Indiana. This part-time, in-person role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth operations as centers come online.

The ideal candidate has an Indiana NP license and at least 2 years in outpatient or infusion care, with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills to coordinate with providers and patients.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Indiana.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.).
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication
• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence based standards, and organizational policies
• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity
