Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of our new infusion centers. This part-time, in-person role (approx 8 hours/week) focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring safe, compliant operations during the launch in Johnstown, CO.

The ideal NP will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient safety and operational excellence, with Colorado licensure and outpatient/infusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with patients across scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, and care plans.
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers for order clarification and status updates.
• Resolve clinical escalations following policies and procedures.
• Prescribe select medications in line with protocols and organizational policies.
• Onboard new Medicare patients with establishment calls and documentation.
• Ensure clinical quality and compliance through supervision, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity.
