Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores and scan product barcodes using a mobile app. The role offers flexible hours with several stores weekly, and requires a reliable vehicle and ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Compensation is competitive ($16/hr) with travel paid at the hourly rate and benefits like 401(k) matching. This position remains open for approximately 30 days to identify qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet high, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in designated stores using a mobile app.
• Perform in-store data collection at assigned locations weekly.
• Maintain accuracy in counts and product quantities scanned.
• Work independently with flexible hours and meet weekly deadlines.
• Engage with clients and follow project guidelines for accuracy.
