Job summary

ScanScape seeks part-time Retail Scan Associates to conduct in-store data collections across local retailers. You will use a mobile app to scan product barcodes, perform display scanning, and participate in occasional custom projects.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly; may take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work in some weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines; deliver data to clients with dependability and quality.
• Report to store within described deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
