Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Decorah, IA 52101. The role is permanent part-time with base hours averaging 2–4 hours per week across all stores, plus additional hours for special projects. You will visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes, collect data, and support retail data insights.

The job emphasizes independence, flexibility, and weekend/holiday coverage as needed. A reliable vehicle, valid license, and willingness to travel locally are required; 401(k)

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in designated stores using a mobile app.
• Collect data on approximately 45% of scanned products.
• Perform weekly display scanning across the store.
• Participate in Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per week per store.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients.
• Work with flexibility to accommodate client requirements.
