Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery and retailer stores in Decorah, IA, and surrounding areas. You'll scan barcodes on displays and aisles using a mobile app, collecting data to help improve product performance.

This role offers flexible hours averaging 2–4 per week per store, with extra hours for special projects, and occasional travel reimbursements. A dependable vehicle and a valid license are required, with a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Report to the store within the described deadline and complete display scanning weekly.
• Participate in occasional Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per week per store.
