Job summary

Scanscape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly, scanning barcodes and collecting in-store data. The role offers flexible hours with 2–5 hours per week, plus additional hours for special projects.

Travel compensation is included and eligibility for 401(k) with employer matching is offered. You'll use a mobile app to scan items across grocery and convenience stores, working around various schedules and store types.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to endure being on your feet for long periods and to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to reach 6 feet, bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores to scan barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete weekly in-store data collection and display scanning.
• Assist with additional projects (Custom Projects) as needed.
