Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, hotel, room service, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to take accurate orders and communicate effectively.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to serving alcohol.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Answer in-room dining calls and accurately record guest food and beverage orders.
• Clearly communicate menu options, specials, preparation times, and charges.
• Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale system.
• Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure timely preparation.
• Set up trays, carts, and service items per standards.
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally.
• Confirm guest satisfaction and provide attentive service on delivery.
• Process payments and maintain cash-handling procedures as required.
• Retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms and service areas.
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked in-room dining areas.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and hospitality procedures.
