Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines in Austin, TX is seeking an In-Room Dining Specialist to ensure guests enjoy meals in their rooms with warm, attentive service. This role requires open availability including weekends and holidays, and candidates must be at least 21 years old.

You will take and upsell guest requests, present food and beverage preferences promptly, maintain cleanliness, and assist in other areas to support a seamless guest experience. Training and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous serving experience preferred.
• Attention to detail in fulfilling guest requests.
• Team player with cross-department collaboration.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Certifications: TABC and Texas Food Handler required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have physical stamina to walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Take and upsell guest requests for Room Service with a warm and engaging approach.
• Present guest food and beverage preferences promptly and at the perfect temperature.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by clearing guest floors and landings.
• Assist in other areas as needed, showing flexibility and team spirit.
• Engage in casual conversations to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle general in-room dining preparation, remove serving trays, and ensure a tidy space.
