Job summary

Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring a part-time Independent Living Skills Worker (IHSW) for our In-Home Adult program in Duluth, MN. You will help adults with disabilities live independent lives and collaborate with a support team to implement plans aiming for maximum independence.

The role supports skill training across areas such as communication, household management, and health. A valid driver’s license and preferred relevant degree/experience are required; weekend hours are common.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license with no restrictions and reliable transportation.
• Two-year degree in a behavioral science or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Pass a post-offer background check and Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

• Help adults build independent living skills in private home or community settings.
• Collaborate with the person and support team to implement plans for independence.
• Assist with physical and personal needs, communication, and daily living tasks.
• Support community living and health/wellness activities.
