Job summary

Royal Community Support is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Willingboro, NJ. This part-time role emphasizes independent living, community engagement, and hands-on care in home settings with a dog-friendly environment.

The DSP will work Tue & Fri 4p-6pm, with potential for additional hours. Requires strong communication, reliable transportation, and willingness to complete required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record no more than 5 points.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work legally in the United States.
• Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness.
• Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence and providing hands on assistance w/feeding/dressing/toileting.
• have a smart phone to clock in/out
• must be willing to be provide current RBT certification as well as proof of current CPR/First Aid, medication administration/ Crisis Mgt. or attend the above trainings w/ exception to the RBT at our Lakewood office in addition to 1 hr Zoom Positive Behavioral Support training

• Support participation in small outings and community-based activities.
