Job summary

CGC seeks an Advisor to execute its labor pilot, advancing three-state job quality and workforce development goals. You will help design milestones, engage labor and community stakeholders, and align investments with community benefits objectives while coordinating with green bank partners and developers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree plus 6+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience planning and executing events.
• Experience building coalitions with broad participation.
• Experience working with labor and/or community organizations.
• Understanding of labor, workforce development, and community benefits strategies.
• Experience leading project management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on labor and community benefits opportunities: identify opportunities to strengthen evaluation of labor, workforce, and community benefits in investment diligence procedures; support connecting workforce development programs to projects in the pipeline; draft resources for measuring job quality and community benefits.
• Organize labor and community stakeholder convenings: plan and execute two convenings with stakeholders to shape job quality, workforce development, and community benefits parameters that align with financing requirements.
• Identify and advance pipeline of projects that meet parameters: work with partners to identify projects matching job quality, workforce development, and community benefits parameters and financing requirements.
• Manage pilot strategy and execution: define milestones, build a roadmap, track budget/expenses, monitor progress, resolve issues, and collect pilot performance data.
