Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking an Ice Cream Specialist to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience. You will make hand-dipped cones, shakes and other items, while ensuring safe, clean operations and accurate cashiering.

Part-time position (≤25 hours/week), shifts may include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Must be able to lift 21 pounds and work in cool/freezer environments. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• You must be at least 16 years old to work at United Dairy Farmers.
• Part-time schedule up to 25 hours per week; may work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello, ensure store is ready for Guests at all times.
• Prepare shakes/malts, cups/cones of ice cream/yogurt, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and gas console; process transactions and make change.
• Stock shelves, displays, milk box and freezers; rotate stock and check for out-of-code dates.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness and equipment temperatures; monitor for proper operation.
• Accurately complete time records and the Customer First Document.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
• Speak, hear and understand English well enough to communicate with customers.
• Able to tolerate temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes and to 33 degrees for 10 minutes.
• Able to lift at least 21 pounds and place an 8x10x10 package into a dip cabinet.
