Veracity Insurance Solutions in Pleasant Grove, UT, seeks a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join as a part-time hybrid role reporting to the HR Manager. You will ensure accurate, on-time bi-weekly payroll, stay compliant with wage-hour laws, and support HR/Finance with process improvements while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications include a 2/3+ year track record in multi-state payroll, knowledge of payroll regulations, and proficiency with Rippling (preferred) or similar systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• Knowledge of payroll practices, wage-hour laws, and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
• Review timecards, overtime, PTO, commissions, bonuses, and retro adjustments.
• Handle off-cycle payments, final paychecks, and payroll corrections.
• Maintain payroll records and manage wage garnishments and tax levies.
• Set up withholding accounts and update wage tax configurations.
• Support quarterly and year-end filings (W-2, W-2c).
• Reconcile benefits and 401(k) deductions with invoices and remittances.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll with accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance for payroll reporting and audits.
• Perform other duties as requested.
