Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a certified Full Spectrum Doula to provide in-person and virtual support across prenatal to postpartum care in the Greater Augusta area. The role emphasizes education, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with the Women's Health Service Line.

The doula will lead classes, support families, and ensure alignment with Wellstar policies while addressing diverse cultural needs and learning preferences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred in health fields.
• CAPPA Full Spectrum Doula certification within 1 year required.
• CCE - Childbirth Educator certification preferred within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person labor support, comfort techniques, and breastfeeding guidance.
• Educate patients and families across prenatal, labor, and postpartum periods.
• Deliver evidence-based education through in-person and online formats.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and advocate for families in care planning.
• Lead educational programs at multiple Wellstar locations and events.
