Job summary

Wellstar LaGrange is seeking an experienced Full Spectrum/Labor Doula to provide in-person services across the service area. Candidates must reside in LaGrange and be willing to travel within the designated area, with demonstrated labor and birth experience.

The Doula will support patients before, during, and after pregnancy, offering physical comfort, emotional reassurance, breastfeeding guidance, and culturally sensitive education.

Qualifications

• Certified Full Spectrum/Labor Doula with labor and birth experience.
• Willing to travel within the designated service area.
• Reside in the LaGrange area and provide in-person services.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical comfort techniques during labor (touch, massage, breathing).
• Offer emotional reassurance and encouragement and breastfeeding support.
• Deliver evidence-based information to patients and families.
• Lead educational courses at various times and locations.
• Collaborate with the Women's Health Service Line under the Director.
