Job summary

Health Delivery, Inc. seeks qualified doulas to support pregnant families at home and in clinical settings. You will initiate contact early in pregnancy, attend appointments, and assist mothers through labor and the postpartum period, documenting services in the EMR per state guidelines.

Required are a high school diploma and MDHHS-approved doula training with certification; Lactation Counselor certification is a plus. Flexible hours and travel within the service area may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of MDHHS-approved doula training within 3 months of hire.
• Current MDHHS doula certification in birth/postpartum/bereavement doula services.
• Lactation Counselor certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates contact with assigned families early in pregnancy.
• Attends scheduled appointments and maintains timely availability.
• Visits pregnant and parenting women in homes or other settings as preferred and safe.
• Supports labor with birth planning and postpartum guidance.
• Documents billable services in EMR per Michigan Medicaid Bulletins.
