Job summary

University Student Housing, LLC seeks a part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage payments, reconciliations, and daily delinquency reporting for on-campus housing clients. You will ensure payments post correctly to the property management system and assist leasing teams with student account inquiries via email or phone.

The ideal candidate has accounting or finance training or experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Accounting/bookkeeping experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve discrepancies.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook) with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Post revenue, credits and payments to the property management system.
• Process NSF/returned checks, ACHs, and chargebacks.
• Assist leasing team with student account inquiries by email/phone.
• Audit summer housing bookings and process payments.
• Perform weekly reconciliations of data with bank and PCI systems.
• Maintain delinquency reports and communicate with residents and guarantors.
• Ensure timely bank deposits and accurate data entry.
