Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health in American Fork, Utah, is seeking a Part-Time Human Service Worker to support youth at the Vantage Point North crisis shelter. Job description

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker at our Vantage Point North youth crisis shelter in American Fork, Utah. In this rewarding role, you'll provide direct support, supervision, and guidance to youth ages 10–17 who are experiencing challenges such as family conflict, emotional distress, mental health concerns, trauma-related behaviors, housing instability, or other crises impacting their well-being. As part of a dedicated team, you'll help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where youth and families can find stability, hope, and connection to resources during difficult times. What You’ll Do As a Human Service Worker

Qualifications

  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
  • Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.

Salary: $17.50 - $22.17 per hour
