Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a Part-Time Human Service Worker at the Vantage Point Provo youth crisis shelter in Provo, Utah. You will provide direct support and supervision to youths ages 10–17 facing crises, helping create a safe, structured environment and connecting families to resources.

Schedule includes 3:00 PM-11:00 PM with a pay range of $17.50–$22.17/hour. We value teamwork, compassion, and opportunities for hands-on growth in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; background check passed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Willing to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants.
  • Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment.

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker at our Vantage Point Provo youth crisis shelter in Provo, Utah. In this rewarding role, you'll provide direct support, supervision, and guidance to youth ages 10–17 who are experiencing challenges such as family conflict, emotional distress, mental health concerns, trauma-related behaviors, housing instability, or other crises impacting their well-being. As part of a dedicated team, you'll help create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where youth and families can find stability, hope, and connection to resources during difficult times.   • Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
