Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Therapist for the Vantage Point North Program in American Fork, Utah. The role offers direct and indirect crisis-focused therapy for youth aged 10–17, with a compensation range of $30.26–$44.47 per hour, DOE and licensure.

The therapist will conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy while coordinating with supervisors and community partners to support safer outcomes and reduce ER or law

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, MHC, or MFT required.
• Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapy delivery skills.
• Experience working with youths and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Therapist with our Vantage Point North Program in American Fork, Utah! With a competitive wage of $30.26–$44.47/hour, this role offers the opportunity to provide therapeutic support to youth ages 10–17 during times of crisis. Vantage Point is a short-term, voluntary youth crisis facility that provides a safe and supportive environment for youth experiencing family conflict, mental health challenges, trauma-related behaviors, suicidal thoughts, running away, risk of homelessness, or other challenges affecting their well-being. Therapists work with youth and families to help resolve conflict, develop effective coping strategies, and create a plan for moving forward while helping prevent unnecessary emergency room visits, law enforcement involvement, and escalation into other systems of care.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, Hours are Varied

Compensation: $30.26–$44.47 DOE and Licensure

What You'll Do As a Therapist

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.

Salary: $30.26 - $44.47 per hour
