Job summary

TSG Support Services in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a part-time HR Specialist to execute employee lifecycle activities across multiple entities. You will support recruiting, onboarding, internships, benefits, payroll-adjacent data review, and HR inquiries under the Director of People & Culture.

This 25–29 hour per week role offers flexible hours and requires 3–5 years in HR, strong organizational skills, and comfort working across states. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience including recruiting coordination or admin operations.
• Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting efforts, postings, candidate communication and interview scheduling.
• Manage internship paperwork, compensation setup, and end dates in HR/payroll systems.
• Handle I-9 and E-Verify processes, including audits and timely re-verifications.
• Oversee onboarding logistics and maintenance of accurate employee records in ADP and internal tools.
• Support payroll and benefits updates, changes, terminations, and data accuracy.
• Triage HR mailbox inquiries and escalate complex issues to leadership.
