Job summary

The College of Business at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Human Resources for temporary, non-tenure track appointments. Courses may be on-campus, online, or hybrid, taught by lecturers in HR.

Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and reviewed semester-by-semester. The pool supports Human Resources classes such as management, labor relations, and total rewards, with no visa sponsorship for new hires.

Qualifications

• A completed bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a closely related field with a minimum of three (3) years professional experience in these areas.
• OR A completed master’s degree in business administration, or a closely related field with a minimum of one-year of professional industry experience in these areas is required.
• A terminal degree (e.g. PhD, DBA, JD) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to undergraduate/graduate students both in-person and online courses.
• Maintains, develop and schedules student learning experiences to achieve desired learning outcomes.
• Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assess student process towards course learning objectives.
• Be familiar with learning management systems, such as Canvas.
• Other duties as determined by the College of Business.
