Job summary

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs invites applications for a Lecturer in Human Resources (pool) in the College of Business. This evergreen pool supports temporary, non-tenure track appointments teaching HR courses such as HR management, labor relations, and total rewards. Courses may be on-campus, online, or hybrid, with flexible semester-by-semester scheduling.

Appointments are part-time (<50% time) and do not include standard faculty benefits. Candidates should have a bachelor's or master's in business and relevant experience; a terminal degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with minimum 3 years professional experience in relevant areas.
• Master's degree in business administration with minimum 1 year professional industry experience.
• Terminal degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in-person and online courses.
• Maintains, develops and schedules student learning experiences to achieve learning outcomes.
• Plans, develops, and implements evaluation tools to assess progress toward course objectives.
• Familiar with learning management systems such as Canvas.
• Other duties as determined by the College of Business.
