Job summary

The College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Communication for future temporary, non-tenure track appointments. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.

The position is responsible for teaching various courses in Communication; exact courses depend on need at hire time and may be in person or online. This pool enables quick staffing when vacancies arise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to teach a range of Communication courses and to adapt to online and on-site formats.

Responsibilities

• Teach various Communication courses as needed.
• Contribute to a multiple modality teaching environment (in-person, online, hybrid).
