Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. in Michigan is seeking a hands-on Part-Time HR Generalist to support a growing organization across HR functions, including onboarding, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of HR Generalist experience, knowledge of employment laws, and proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday). This role offers flexibility and work‑life balance while making a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS systems (ADP, Paycom, UKG, Workday, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Administer employee benefits and assist with open enrollment.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
• Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other leave requests.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Assist with payroll‑related HR functions and employee data changes.
• Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation as needed.
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement efforts.
