Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Stabilization Case Manager in Boston to support families exiting shelters with long-term housing stability. The role requires bilingual Creole/Spanish abilities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with shelter staff, landlords, and service providers.

The candidate will document progress in ETO/ASIST, maintain regular landlord contact, and help families access public and private resources to keep housing.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Human Services, Social Work preferred.
  • Bilingual Haitian Creole or Spanish.
  • CPR/SFA certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Use of a personal vehicle or ability to utilize public transportation for home visits.

Responsibilities

  • Support families exiting Hildebrand Emergency Shelter for 24 months and up to 36 months.
  • Discuss post-shelter supports with the family and housing specialists before exit.
  • Enter stabilization plans and progress into ETO/ASIST and update every 30 days.
  • Maintain monthly landlord communication to ensure rent payments and address issues.
  • Document stabilization efforts and meetings in EA Case Notes in ETO/ASIST.
  • Track demographics, income, immigration status, Hildebrand tiering, and other data weekly/monthly.
  • Help families access public/private resources to retain housing.
  • Encourage progress on stabilization goals and maintain landlord-tenant relationships.
