Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of client advocacy experience or a high school diploma with 3+ years of advocacy experience.
• Proficient in digital workspace; electronic files, emails, and document editing.
• Experience in housing search, housing retention, case management, benefits navigation, HIV services.
• Experience advocating for clients with government agencies, housing authorities, or landlords preferred.
• Openness to harm reduction philosophy and ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural settings with diverse client groups.

Responsibilities

• Provides up to 12 months of client-centered housing stabilization and retention services.
• Collaborates with clients to identify barriers and connect to housing resources.
• Helps clients maintain housing through case management, budgeting, and linkages to services.
• Serves as a partner with landlords, healthcare teams, and community agencies.
• Performs housing-related assessments and develops stabilization plans.
• Meets regularly with clients to track progress toward goals.
• Develops a resource network for people living with HIV/AIDS in Greater Boston.
• Coordinates with existing service programs to maximize access to services.
• Attends meetings, trainings, and workshops and follows Housing First philosophy.
