Chestnut Health Systems Inc is seeking a part-time Housing Clinician to provide recovery-oriented, trauma-informed mental health services in housing programs. The role supports individuals in achieving stability, wellness, and independence through person-centered care in office and community settings.

The position involves assessment, treatment planning, service delivery, and coordination with teams and community partners supporting housing stability and substance use recovery.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ supervised mental health experience.
• OR a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field with less than 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance and be insurable.
• Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Effective communication with employees, consumers, potential consumers, and support systems.
• Ability to respond effectively and calmly in conflict or emotional situations.
• Good keyboarding skills.
• Data entry experience – preferably with an electronic health record or electronic billing system.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical care and interventions: Facilitate individual, family, and group sessions with evidence‑based modalities.
• Person-centered and trauma-informed approach across all interactions and treatment planning.
• Community-based delivery: provide flexible direct service in client-centered environments.
• Complete timely clinical assessments, updates, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with housing, substance use treatment, and other resources; manage referrals.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and meet productivity standards.
• Participate in supervision, trainings, and team meetings.
