Job summary

Hyatt Place Pasadena is seeking a House Person to perform cleaning duties that uphold high cleanliness standards and enhance guest experiences in line with Hyatt Brand Standards.

The role involves transporting linens, cleaning balconies, preparing rooms, and maintaining linen and supply areas, with a focus on safety and reliable attendance. Open availability including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport clean/dirty linen to and from Housekeeping main closet to room attendant closets.
• Clean assigned guest balconies, front and back.
• Strip all departure rooms, taking dirty linen and trash out of the room.
• Maintain exterior of all guest rooms.
• Maintain and organize room attendant linen closets.
• Maintain proper par stocks of supplies and linens in linen closets.
• Help maintain guest rooms by reporting deficiencies to Housekeeping Management or Engineering.
• Punctual, regular and reliable attendance is required.
• Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.
• Communicate clearly with guests, management and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Management.

The House Person performs cleaning duties to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and to provide a memorable guest experience through the anticipation of guest’s needs and providing exceptional service to support Hyatt Brand Standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following reflects the essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor who may reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.

• Transport clean/dirty linen to and from Housekeeping main closet to room attendant closets.


• Clean assigned guest balconies, front and back.


• Strip all departure rooms which includes taking all dirty linen and trash out of the room.


• Maintain exterior of all guest rooms.


• Maintain and organize room attendant linen closets.


• Maintain proper par stocks of supplies and linens in linen closets.


• Helps maintain guest rooms by reporting any deficiencies to Housekeeping Management or Engineering.


• Punctual, regular and reliable attendance is a condition for continued employment.


• Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times.


• Must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers


• Performs other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Management.
