Job summary

Engage Hospitality is seeking a House Person to support the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness and order in public areas and assisting with operations.

You will clean and maintain lobby, restrooms, and other spaces; move linens, stock supplies; assist room attendants; and help with event setup, basic repairs, and safety procedures. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and weekend/holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobby, hallways, restrooms, and other common spaces.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors, carpets, and rugs.
• Clean windows, mirrors, doors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, including entrances and surrounding property.
• Collect, transport, and organize soiled linens; assist with stocking and distributing clean linens and supplies.
• Support room attendants by providing supplies and responding to requests during shifts.
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas, equipment rooms, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or special events, as needed.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs or touch-up painting, as assigned.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Assist other departments, including housekeeping and bar areas, as needed; and
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
