Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group seeks a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations in a hotel setting. You will coordinate room and public area cleaning, monitor quality and productivity, and guide a team of housekeepers with hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in housekeeping or related setting.
• Lead or supervise experience preferred, strong leadership potential.
• Clear English communication, both spoken and written.
• High standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to organize, multitask, and delegate in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning and public areas.
• Assign and prioritize work schedules based on occupancy and needs.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Provide training and feedback to housekeeping staff.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and linens; notify management for replenishment.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist with hands-on cleaning during peak periods or staff shortages.
• Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Support onboarding and coaching of new team members.
• Maintain professional communication with staff and other departments.
• Document incidents or staff performance for the manager.
