Job summary

Sage Haus is seeking a proactive Household Manager & Family Assistant in Jacksonville, FL to support a busy family of five and a golden retriever. You’ll run errands, organize the home, coordinate schedules, and help with meal prep and laundry, working independently with minimal direction.

This part-time, M-F role is 30–35 hours weekly (8:30 AM–2:30 PM) with occasional overnight coverage and school pickups. Pay is $30–$35 per hour, with mileage reimbursement for using a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Reliable transportation; mileage reimbursement when using personal vehicle
• Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs during the day
• Maintain a smoke-free environment within the home
• Maintain a fragrance-free presence in the home
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Occasional school pickups, once per week or as needed
• Prepare backpacks, uniforms, snacks, and sports gear for daily activities
• Support with kid-related errands, including school project supplies and activity prep
• Backup childcare and supervision
• Occasional overnight stays (planned well in advance, compensated separately)
• Daily household resets and general tidying
• Create and maintain household organization systems
• Seasonal clothing and décor swaps, holiday decorating
• Pack/unpack for family travel
• Assist with event and guest prep for holidays and gatherings
• Coordinate donation drop-offs
• Laundry duties for the entire family
• Manage linen rotation and bedding needs
• Meal support: dinners 1–2 times per week, daily lunches
• Weekly grocery shopping and inventory management
• Pet care, including dog walking and scheduling grooming
• Vehicle upkeep and maintenance tracking
• Vendor coordination for cleaners and services
• Administrative support for calendars and travel planning
• Deep cleaning and organizational projects
