Job description

SUMMARY:Weekend House Attendant - Saturday and Sunday only.Responsible for general cleaning duties and a variety of cleaning tasks in publicareas and suites.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Remove soiled linen and trash from suite attendant carts2. Transport soiled linen to laundry and trash to dumpster3. Deliver cribs, roll-aways, groceries and various items related to suites asrequested by supervisor and/or guest. Return them to proper storage whenthe guest has finished using the items4. Move furniture as required. This may include setting up tables and chairs inall meeting rooms for guest functions5. Deliver supplies to proper storerooms and ensure locations are clean andorganized6. Remove all debris and trash from grounds and parking lot and check all trashand recycling receptacles. Clean as necessary.7. Keep public areas neat and remove trash, mop floors and clean carpets asnecessary or as requested by management8. Vacuum and clean fireplaces if applicable, replenish logs and tags9. Assist housekeepers in stripping floors and vacuuming when required10. Clean kitchen light fixtures, under refrigerators, ceiling fans, sliding glassdoor tracks and other items as assigned11. Flip mattresses in suites as directed by manager12. Hang curtains and privacy drapes13. Assist in the removal and laundering of bedspreads, blankets and curtains14. Assist in monthly housekeeping inventory15. Deep clean public areas as assigned16. Use the L.E.A.R.N Model for all guest recovery incidents that occur (Listen,Empathize, Apologize, React, Notify)17. Always have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with ourguests18. Clean rollers of vacuum and change vacuum bags at regular intervals toensure continued proper functioning19. Responsible for knowing all hotel emergency procedures20. Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements21. Responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards fordepartment22. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys23. Responsible for the proper administration of keys left by guests in suite24. Bring all lost and found items to the supervisor’s or manager’s office forlogging and storage25. Report immediately to a supervisor or manager any out of the ordinarysituation in the guestrooms including unreported pets, parties in the suite,unusually dirty suites, a vacant suite when the room is thought to beoccupied, or an occupied suite when the room is thought to be vacant26. Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver to supervisor/manageror designated area in a timely manner27. Learn basic front desk duties to cover lunches as needed28. Accommodate guest special requests courteously29. Answer guest questions regarding the hotel and local area facilitiesand services30. Carry out any reasonable request by management that I am capableof performing.
