Job summary

Johnson Hospitality LLC seeks a dependable hotel housekeeping attendant to maintain cleanliness in public areas and suites. You will remove soiled linen, transport items, and assist in various housekeeping tasks to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.

duties include stocking supplies, assisting in room setup, and supporting front desk coverage during lunches. A courteous, proactive approach and ability to follow safety procedures are essential.

Responsibilities

• Remove soiled linen and trash from suite attendant carts.
• Transport soiled linen to laundry and trash to dumpster.
• Deliver cribs, roll-aways, groceries and various items related to suites as requested by supervisor and/or guest.
• Return items to proper storage when the guest finishes using them.
• Move furniture as required, including setting up tables and chairs in meeting rooms.
• Deliver supplies to storerooms and keep locations clean and organized.
• Remove debris and trash from grounds and parking lot; check receptacles.
• Keep public areas neat; remove trash, mop floors and clean carpets as needed.
• Vacuum and clean fireplaces; replenish logs and tags as applicable.
• Assist housekeepers in stripping floors and vacuuming as required.
• Clean kitchen light fixtures, under refrigerators, ceiling fans, and door tracks.
• Flip mattresses in suites as directed by manager.
• Hang curtains and privacy drapes.
• Assist in laundering bedspreads, blankets and curtains.
• Assist in monthly housekeeping inventory.
• Deep clean public areas as assigned.
• Follow the LEARN model for guest recovery incidents.
• Maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor with guests.
• Clean rollers of vacuum and change vacuum bags regularly.
• Know all hotel emergency procedures.
• Follow hotel safety guidelines and quality assurance standards.
• Proper administration of issued keys and keys left by guests.
• Bring lost and found items to supervisor/manager for logging and storage.
• Report any unusual situations in guestrooms to supervisor/manager.
• Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver promptly.
• Learn basic front desk duties to cover lunches when needed.
• Accommodate guest special requests courteously.
• Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities and services.
• Carry out reasonable requests by management.

Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements21. Responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards fordepartment22. Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys23. Responsible for the proper administration of keys left by guests in suite24. Bring all lost and found items to the supervisor’s or manager’s office forlogging and storage25. Report immediately to a supervisor or manager any out of the ordinarysituation in the guestrooms including unreported pets, parties in the suite,unusually dirty suites, a vacant suite when the room is thought to beoccupied, or an occupied suite when the room is thought to be vacant326. Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver to supervisor/manageror designated area in a timely manner27. Learn basic front desk duties to cover lunches as needed28. Accommodate guest special requests courteously29. Answer guest questions regarding the hotel and local area facilitiesand services30.
