Job summary

Ignite Hotels seeks a Maintenance Engineer for the Red Lion Wenatchee property. This part-time role supports daily maintenance and repairs to keep guest areas safe, clean, and operational.

You will respond to requests in guestrooms and public spaces, perform preventive maintenance on systems, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Strong time management and prioritization of work orders.
• Professional guest interaction and communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests in guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on rooms, equipment, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify needed repairs.
• Assist with room turns and out-of-order room recoveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shops, storage, and work areas.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain work order documentation and logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
