Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Wenatchee is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to assist in operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel equipment. The role includes ensuring safety, health code compliance for pool/spa, and acting as the emergency contact.

You will perform plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and related repairs, attend monthly maintenance meetings, and supervise contractors as needed. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc).

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Maintain safety and health code requirements for pool and spa.
• Report emergencies and unusual situations immediately.
• Perform plumbing, laundry equipment, HVAC, pool/spa, and minor electrical repairs upon request.
• Attend maintenance meetings and communicate with the Corporate Engineer.
• Evaluate and spot-check work of staff and contractors.
• Carry a phone at all times and assist with safety concerns.
• Complete appropriate Engineering forms and other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Trade license preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
