Markey's is seeking a Part Time as Needed (PRN) Hotel Audio Video Event Technician to support events at the Westin Milwaukee and The Milwaukee Marriott Downtown. The role involves setting up, operating, and dismantling high-end AV gear for live and hybrid meetings, with on-site client interaction and occasional after-hours work.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring a professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Must have good working knowledge of all types of audio visual equipment including operation, setup, troubleshooting, and explanation of equipment.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently, following supervisor on-site directions.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down, and occasionally load/unload equipment for events.
• Operate audio, visual, and lighting equipment for live and virtual events.
• Work closely with clients and in-house team to ensure successful events.
• Provide excellent customer service to hotel staff and clients.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide satisfactory resolutions.
• Ensure equipment is functional and presented professionally for clients.
