Job summary

Markey's is seeking PRN Hotel Audio Video Event Technicians to support Indianapolis Hotels department. This part-time, as-needed role involves setting up and operating high-end AV equipment for live/virtual/hybrid meetings, with some evenings and weekends required.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown, ensuring client satisfaction and equipment readiness. You’ll work closely with clients and the on-site team, delivering professional service and flexible

Qualifications

• Must have a good working knowledge of all types of audio visual equipment including operation, setup, troubleshooting, and explanation.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and follow directions from supervisor or on-site leader.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional appearance at all times.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities with strong time management.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and Operations team to ensure the successful completion of events.
• Set-up, tear-down, and occasional loading and unloading of equipment.
• Operate all types of audio, visual, and lighting equipment, for both live and virtual events.
• Provide excellent customer service to hotel employees and clients, promptly handling any equipment changes/requests.
• Ensure equipment is functional, safely and professionally presented, and that client is familiar or comfortable with the operation of any equipment they are utilizing.
• Trouble-shoot any equipment issues with satisfactory resolution.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned to ensure success of Markey’s events.
