Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly Part-Time Host for the Golden Owl Tavern at the UNC Charlotte Marriott in Charlotte, NC. You will greet guests, seat them, hand menus, and help ensure a smooth dining experience, while maintaining a confident and welcoming presence throughout each shift.

This role requires a High School diploma and at least 3 months of cash handling and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 months experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Knowledge of basic restaurant operations and food service principles.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and escort to assigned tables.
• Issue menus, solicit rapport, and accommodate special requests.
• Assist servers by managing seating and section assignments.
• Process payments accurately at the cashier station.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming appearance and report issues to management.
