Job summary

Loverboy in San Antonio is seeking a friendly Host to be the first impression of our restaurant. You will greet guests, manage seating, and coordinate with servers to ensure fast and courteous service.

As a Regular Part-Time team member, you will maintain the entry area, assist with directions and special requests, and uphold our standards of guest comfort, cleanliness, and professional presentation throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Food Handlers certification before employment begins.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.
• Must be well-groomed and professionally dressed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and make them feel valued.
• Acknowledge guest’s right-of-way and assist with directions or special requests.
• Open doors for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.
• Maintain entryway cleanliness and assist with table turnover when needed.
• Provide guests with accurate estimated waiting time.
• Notify servers/managers of special events guests are celebrating upon seating.
• Escort guests to their tables and share server’s name.
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders & management to maintain efficiency of the restaurant.
• Maintain a wait list system and monitor table turnover.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.
