Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Largo, MD is seeking a friendly, hands-on teammate for a part-time role in food service and guest interaction. The position covers the Wednesday Managers Reception from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and two to three breakfast shifts during the week.

The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, setup and breakdown of service areas, dishwashing, and delivering attentive guest service while maintaining a clean, welcoming kitchen and dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking, food service, hospitality, or dishwashing is a plus.
• Willingness to cover a Wednesday 2–8 PM reception and 2–3 breakfast shifts during the week.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness, organization and safety in kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present breakfast items and Wednesday evening reception offerings.
• Set up breakfast and reception areas, replenish supplies and break down service areas after each meal or event.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment; keep kitchen and dining areas sanitary and organized.
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to contribute to a welcoming hotel experience.
• Monitor food levels, ensure items are stocked and service areas are clean and presentable.
• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures for food handling and service.
• Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, from preparing and serving food to engaging with guests and keeping our kitchen and dining areas clean and organized.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable team member to cover our Wednesday Managers Reception from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM every week, along with two to three breakfast shifts during the week.

The successful candidate will assist with food preparation and cooking, set up and break down food service areas, wash dishes, and provide friendly, attentive service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present food items for breakfast service and the Wednesday evening Managers Reception in accordance with hotel standards.
• Setup and Breakdown: Set up breakfast and Managers Reception areas, arrange food and beverages, replenish supplies, and break down service areas after each meal or event.
• Dishwashing and Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and food service areas.
• Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, interact with them professionally, answer questions, and help create a welcoming, home-away-from-home experience.
• Food and Beverage Service: Monitor food levels, replenish items as needed, and ensure food service areas remain clean, presentable, and well-stocked.
• Sanitation and Safety: Follow proper food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with hotel staff to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent guest satisfaction.

Schedule Requirements

• Part-time position
• Every Wednesday, 2:00 PM–8:00 PM, covering the Managers Reception.
• Two to three breakfast shifts during the week as needed.
