Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
• Current licensure/registration required within 3 months where applicable.
• Minimum one year hospital or outpatient mental health experience.
• Experience with diverse populations in challenging settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling to patients and families.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and assist in treatment plan development.
• Coordinate discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Document and maintain clinical records for each client during stay.
