Job summary

Allied Universal, North America\u2019s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Hospital Security Officer in Wexford. This part-time role covers 3:00PM-11:00PM, 11:00PM-7:00AM, or 7:00AM-3:00PM with up to 40 hours weekly, weekends included.

You will support nursing staff, maintain safety, and provide professional customer service. Requirements include at least 21 years old for certain roles, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Experience handling customer interactions and stressful situations.
• Ability to observe and report security incidents with attention to detail.
• Capable of working as part of a team in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, or hazards.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and access control.
• De-escalate conflicts verbally and physically when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment for proper operation.
• Screen members and visitors to expedite admittance to the facility.
• Respond to emergencies with calm urgency and coordinate evacuations if required.
