Job summary

Alliedbarton Security Services seeks a Hospital Security Officer at Wexford Hospital. This part-time role offers flexible shifts (3:00PM-11:00PM, 11:00PM-7:00AM, 7:00AM-3:00PM) with up to 40 hours per week and weekend inclusion. Paid training, uniforms provided, and excellent benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

Experience dealing with customers, troubleshooting, and managing stressful situations.
Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check required by law; drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
De-escalate individuals orally and physically as needed.
Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance.
Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.
