Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Security Officers for the Wexford Hospital in a full-time role. The schedule includes 3:00PM-11:00PM, 11:00PM-7:00AM, and 7:00AM-3:00PM shifts with up to 40 hours per week, including weekends. On-site duties include patrolling, monitoring surveillance, and assisting nursing staff as needed.

The position offers weekly pay, uniforms provided, and comprehensive benefits. Applicants must meet age and vaccination requirements, complete training, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in customer interactions or stressful situations.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations
• De-escalate individuals verbally or physically when needed
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance
• Respond calmly to incidents such as fire, medical emergencies, or bomb threats
• Assist patient transport to hospital morgue when required
