Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician at the Grand View Campus in Sellersville, PA.

The role includes filling medications and IV orders, preparing parenteral solutions, and managing medication cassettes and deliveries to patient care areas. Applicants should have at least six months of hospital pharmacy experience and be prepared for on-the-job training within six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Registration with PA Board of Pharmacy preferred upon hire; must register as Pharmacy Technician within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Fills medications and IV orders under pharmacist supervision, maintains cassette drawers and delivers medications.
• Performs parenteral, admixture and sterile preparation activities under pharmacist supervision; adheres to aseptic technique.
• Reviews and fills nursing floor stock and outpatient prescriptions, maintains narcotics inventory and security per policy.
• Maintains logs, conducts routine inspections of medication areas, and communicates with pharmacy staff and nurses in a professional manner.
